Explore Forestown Customer Services - 6.1.02

Forestown has set up a virtual customer-services system. You will find a way into it through the Tourist Information Clearing in the woods.

Like lots of real customer services systems, Forestown's isn't really much help. In fact, it's a bit of a nightmare. However, rumour has it that someone has got lost in there and can't find her way out again. If you can find her, you will also find a marker to claim as your own.

Cast Magic Spells - 8.9.01

You can now cast magic spells on other players. For example, a particular spell might turn a player's weapons into chocolate.

Spells are contained in spellbooks, scattered throughout the game. Once you have read a spell from a spellbook, you can cast that on any other player who is awake. Nobody can take the spells away from you-- once you have gained a spell, you won't lose it.

Play iForest with an online browser - 18.8.01

Using WAPJAG's online WAP browser, you can play iForest through this website. The browser is provided as freeware by WAPJAG.COM, and is hosted on their web site.

Choose yourself a face - 4.8.01

You can now choose a face for your iForest character. Login as usual, then select "Choose a face" on the welcome page. There are currently about 20 faces each for male and female characters, with more to come soon.

When you're playing the game, examining another player will show you what they look like.

Find out about other iForest areas - 21.7.01

People keep asking what there is to explore in the game, beyond Forestown and the surrounding forest. Well, now there is a Tourist Information Centre on this website, that explains some of the areas in the game, and gives a few hints on how to get past the first.

It doesn't describe every area of the game- just enough to give you an idea what's out there!

Interact with other iForest characters - 27.6.01

Up until now, the only way you've been able to interact with other players in iForest has been to attack them. Not very friendly. Now you can select from a preset list of actions by choosing "More..." after clicking on a player's name.

For the time being, the list is quite short. Just things like "Say hello", "Smile" and that sort of thing. If you want the list to grow, send an email saying what you think would be a good action to add to the list. Any sensible suggestions considered!
